DEEP CREEK--An adult woman was killed this morning in a two-car crash near the 6500 block of North Wood Road in Spokane County northeast of Reardan. The crash occurred around 7 a.m., according to a press release from the Spokane County Sheriff's Office. DAVENPORT--Power has been restored city-wide as of 6:40 p.m. The power went out here and along Highway 2 east toward Mondovi this morning after a substation regulator caught fire around 8 a.m. A crew from Avista was sent from Spokane to address the outage, which affected over 1,200 users and lasted over 10 hours during a cold Sunday in the city.
