Summer Reading Program On July 5, the Harrington Library's Summer Reading Program began and will be held each Thursday in July. Katie Steward, library board member, volunteered to lead the first session and had additional volunteers on hand. The school program joined the library program and brought three teenage "aides" to help when needed. Harrington Food Bank schedule change Beginning July 7, the Harrington Food Bank will be open only the first four Saturdays of each month. There will not be any Friday food bank days. The commodities day will be the fourth Saturday, and home deliveries will be done on the fourth Saturday as well. Rocklyn Zion Chapel Hymn Sing The Rocklyn Zion Chapel sits atop a hill about six miles northwest of Harrington, one of the most frequently photographed churches of the Pacific Northwest. Spaghetti feed Cars began arriving at 5:30 p.m. Thursday for the benefit Spaghetti Feed for the family of Lorne Howe who recently lost his battle against cancer. Romeo and Juliet Tuesday morning, March 27, the Seattle Shakespeare Company arrived at the Harrington school and gave three or four workshops including the topics of Elizabethan dance and style of clothing.
