Dolores A. Sieverkropp passed away December 21, 2019 in Odessa. She was born November 29, 1930 in Creston, Wash. to Vilas and Jean Roby. She grew up in the Creston area and attended school and graduated from Creston High School. Dolores worked at the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company in Wilbur in her early years prior to meeting Donald Sieverkropp. She married Donald on February 24, 1956 in Odessa, where they continued to live and farm while raising their family. To the Editor: Life in these United States in 2019. We sit in our comfortable living rooms or dens, watching TV. We read the sports pages and enjoy drinking and partying at tailgate parties. Rocklyn Zion Chapel Christmas Sunday, Dec. 22, was a bright and beautiful day for the Christmas Hymn Sing at at the Rocklyn Zion Chapel near Harrington. The year 2019 provided plenty of both good news and bad news for the Town of Odessa. The town’s youth did well both athletically and academically. The Christmas lighting contest sponsored by the Odessa Lions Club ended on December 22, when a group of local Lions gathered to view the various town properties that had been decorated for the holiday season. Many homes participated this year, and homeowners outdid themselves with lights on the house and in the yard.
