    The junior-high boys basketball season has begun with a large turnout of 25 kids in all, eight sixth-graders, seven seventh-graders and 10 eighth-graders. Last week Tuesday, the team traveled to Lind to take on the Lind/Ritzville/Sprague Broncos. The varsity team won 55-11, and the junior varsity won 35-17. The following Thursday, the Titans hosted Liberty in Odessa. The varsity came out fast and aggressive, which was too much for Liberty to handle. The final score was 66-24....

Agnes was born to Frank and Marie Sis on May 10, 1914, in Rawlins County in the northwest corner of the state of Kansas. Agnes had five brothers, Frank, Anton, Charles, Joseph and Rudolph and two sisters, Mary and Anna.     Grant and Adams county sheriff’s deputies have arrested the suspect in a south Grant County burglary which led to the getaway car being driven into a rural lake.
