    Harrington On February 5, the Tiger girls defeated Harrington in a playoff game played at home in Odessa. The Harrington Panthers, having returned to their original red and black colors, were supported by a large group of fans also mostly in red and black and cheering for their team with great enthusiasm.     In junior-high basketball action against Springdale on January 25, the young Tiger boys won all three of their games. The varsity squad won 47-19, the junior-varsity won 43-21 and the C-squad squeaked by with an 18-17 win.     An advisory put out by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office has reported that the IRS phone scam is popping up again locally. It (and other similar scams) will likely continue to plague citizens. More often than not, there isn’t much law enforcement can do because the scams often originate overseas or are extremely difficult to trace.
