    Women's Health Night celebrated it's 15th annual event dedicated to female health issues last week Wednesday in the social hall of Heritage Church. Clinic manager Barb Schlimmer introduced the evening's emcee, Jolene Erickson of the Lincoln County Health Department in Davenport.   • Pumpkins to provide for "Toasty Tots"

    "Toasty Tots" is a current FBLA project intended to provide warm clothing for Odessa children this winter. Members of the Odessa High School FBLA chapter picked and decorated 100 pumpkins. These fall icons are now being offered to the community in exchange for a donation which will be used to buy warm coats and boots for children needing them.     Lorraine Iltz Becker entered into eternal rest on October 7, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was born to George Iltz, Jr. and Katie Kissler Iltz September 23, 1931. She grew up in Odessa, a small farming community settled mainly by Germans from Russia. Lorraine graduated from Odessa High School in 1949, and went to work for the telephone office in Odessa.     How is it that some of us forget so quickly? The House voted to pass a law in 1996 that would have made English the official language of our great country!     The O-H Titan junior-high football team now has a 4-0 season record. The team defeated Waterville-Mansfield 74-21 on September 29, playing in Harrington. On October 6 in Pateros, the JH Titans won again by a score of 58-12. On offense, the team is continuing to work on execution, especially of screen plays.
