The Titans held tough until late in the game against Curlew on Saturday at home in Odessa, but Curlew scored six runs late for the victory, 11-1. Brad Johnston was solid at the plate for the Titans. He went 2-4 and scored one run, singling in both the first and seventh innings. Three players combined for four hits and five runs batted in early in the game. I was very proud of the Titan golf team this week, after a serious week of practice and with an emphasis on the mental aspects of the game, the boys knocked 21 strokes off their combined scores for their second win in as many matches. Mollie Heinrich Wolf Grant Reed, the youngest of ten children, was born January 27 1918 to Katharina (nee Ottmar) and Gottlieb Heinrich at Willa, North Dakota. The Odessa Chamber of Commerce bought a new trailer for hauling the community float to parades and gave it to the Town of Odessa. They then requested that the town give back the old trailer, so the Chamber can sell it and recoup some of the money spent on the new one.
