    DAVENPORT--Avista customers on and south of Merriam Street here will experience a planned power outage Saturday, May 6, according to a press release from Avista Utilities. Approximately 844 customers in the Davenport and Reardan areas will be affected. The outage is planned from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. so crews can perform maintenance work on local equipment.     DAVENPORT — The Lincoln County Fairgrounds is set to receive a large amount of dollars in the state biennial budget to aide in the construction of a new covered arena. 1 million dollars, to be exact.     First half taxes due Sunday DAVENPORT — First half taxes and assessments are due Sunday, April 30, according to a release from the Lincoln County Treasurer issued Wednesday, April 19. Taxes can be paid by mailing a check to the Treasurer’s Office, PO Box 370 in Davenport, or by dropping payment off in a dropbox on the north end of the Lincoln County Courthouse.
