    ODESSA—Incumbent mayor Bill Crossley and councilwoman Marlene Kramer appear well on their way to the general election after another round of primary election votes were counted Thursday, Aug. 3. Crossley has 216 votes, vastly ahead of second-place Jeremy Smith (53) and third-place Ed Hayden (32).     HARRINGTON — A local music teacher was arrested over the weekend and appeared in Lincoln County District Court Monday, July 31. 33-year-old Seth Michael Bergman of Harrington was arrested on charges of fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief for allegedly slamming a door into his girlfriend multiple times and minorly injuring her forearm while breaking the door frame during an argument in a Harrington home Saturday, July 29, according to police records.     RIVERSIDE — A Reardan woman was killed in a two-car crash one mile north of Riverside early Wednesday morning Aug. 2. 33-year-old Rebecca L. Powelson was pronounced deceased at the scene after her 1990 Ford Ranger was rear-ended by a 2013 Dodge Grand driven by Paul G. Ainsworth of Newport on U.S. Highway 2 around 6:04 a.m. Wednesday, according to a State Patrol press release.
