    For the second year in a row, two horses have tested positive for West Nile virus in Lincoln County, reminding us that the virus is present. Detection of the virus means people should take steps to avoid mosquito bites. “We have seen West Nile virus activity throughout Eastern Washington this year, as it has been identified in humans, horses and mosquitoes.
