The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office has purchased a new incident command trailer, F250 crew cab pickup and John Deere Gator vehicle. The equipment was purchased using grant funds awarded to Lincoln County based on applications submitted by Sheriff Wade Magers. Football Playing in Odessa last Friday evening, the OHS Tiger football team had senior quarterback Colton Hunt back in action, leading the Tigers to their second lop-sided victory of the season over Touchet by a score of 64-14. When I was a freshman, we cheerleaders were allowed to ride the bus with the football players to all the out-of-town games. Over the years since my freshman year of high school in 2013, the girls of the Odessa cheer team have been unable to ride the bus due to excuses from football coaches, players and the school.
