    ODESSA—Lincoln Hospital District No. 1 voters will be asked to do what they’ve historically been willing to do in the special election coming up Tuesday, Feb. 14: pass a one-year operation and maintenance levy. The estimated levy rate is $2.36 per $1,000 of assessed property value for collection in 2024 and will bring in $671,800 “for paying part of the District’s operation and maintenance expenses,” according to proposition language.     DAVENPORT—Schools closed and cars slid across highways in a record-setting snowstorm in Lincoln County Wednesday, Nov. 30. As of press time, anywhere from 6 to 13 inches of snow had fallen around the county. Reardan was the hardest hit with 13 inches as of Wednesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
