    DAVENPORT—The Lincoln County Commissioners approved the official bond and oath of office for Chandra Schumacher as county auditor. Schumacher has replaced Shelly Johnston, who was the auditor for 33 years before her resignation earlier this year and began her post Sept. 1. Schumacher will fill Johnston’s term, which runs through 2022. She will then have to file for re-election. She indicated to the commissioners in July that she intends to run for re-election.     DAVENPORT—The Lincoln County Commissioners approved two resolutions aimed at applying for a broadband construction project with the Public Works Board. The application would request federal funding on a non-matching basis for fiber broadband in Odessa, Harrington, Reardan and possibly the Hawk Creek area.
