DAVENPORT – A Creston man convicted of first-degree child molestation was sentenced to 12 months confinement in Lincoln County Jail. Mathew Scott Chafin, 31, will also serve lifetime probation and five years of treatment after he was found guilty of the charge in Superior Court May 4. Chafin originally pleaded guilty Dec. 15.
