HARRINGTON—The local school district will be asking its taxpayers to replace the current levy with a new 2-year levy in a special election Feb. 13. The levy will collect the same amount as the current levy. HARRINGTON -When Bella Mattozzi was at home during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, she decided to put her artistic skills to use by drawing a vintage van. Her parents, Darren and Carolyn Mattozzi, took notice and suggested she turn the art into a sticker. This sparked an idea for the now 16-year-old Bella, a sophomore at Harrington High School. DAVENPORT — While the 2023 General Election won’t be officially certified until Tuesday, Nov. 28, all contested races have been, in essence, decided.
