    DAVENPORT - A high school freshman was crowned Miss Davenport Wednesday night, May 17. Rikkiana Chavelas , 16, received her 2023-24 crown in a Pioneer Plaza ceremony. Chavelas, who was the lone applicant, said she was inspired to put her name in the hat by outgoing Miss Davenport Abby Breithaupt, who wished her well in a speech prior to the coronation Wednesday.     DAVENPORT — Lincoln County was awarded its fourth broadband-related grant Monday, May 1. The county’s Deer Meadows and Seven Bays FTTx project will receive up to $8,921,342 in Coronavirus Capital Program Funds in the 2021-23 state capital budget. The funding was approved by the state Broadband Office based on the Nov. 22 Broadband Infrastructure Grant Program.
