DAVENPORT — The School Board approved a motion for an interfund loan to pay for a new school bus at a regular meeting Monday, April 29. The loan, which temporarily moves $56,000 from the capital projects fund to the transportation vehicle fund, is necessary for the District to be able to use a new bus that arrived earlier than expected, superintendent Chad Prewitt said. Two years ago I wrote a letter to the Odessa School Board asking them to remove my picture from our 1967 class graduation picture. I wasn’t given the respect of a response to my letter. ODESSA - The Tiger baseball team continued to put together a winning season this week, coming out victorious in three of the four games played over the last week. Odessa swept Waterville-Mansfield 18-16 and 13-8 Saturday, April 20 and split a doubleheader with Curlew 12-19 and 11-7 Tuesday, April 23. The week's results mean Odessa is 11-5 this season.
