    DAVENPORT —The Lincoln County Commissioners have until the end of the year to ratify the 2024 county budget, and plan to do so with three days to spare. The commissioners recessed their regular meeting Monday, Dec. 18 to Thursday, Dec. 28 in order to approve a finalized budget. The county usually faces a budget gap between its revenues and expenses.     ODESSA — Town council unanimously approved a balanced budget for the 2024 fiscal year at its regular meeting Monday, Dec. 11. The town is budgeting for $3,511,016.99 in both revenues and expenditures. The town operates nine funds, all of which have an equal number of revenues and expenditures in the adopted 2024 budget.
