DAVENPORT – The Gorillas won’t be fielding a high school team this season, athletic director Tim Zeiler and recently-hired head coach Ethan Wynecoop decided last week. Less than nine players had been showing up to practice regularly, and the school determined there likely wouldn’t be enough regular participants to reliably hold a season. All games were cancelled. REARDAN – The Colfax Bulldogs (6-0) continued their winning ways against the Reardan Indians (1-3), controlling the first game of a doubleheader 22-1 and holding on 5-2 in the second game.
