    SPOKANE — The state Department of Fish and Wildlife is prohibiting campfires, target shooting and other activities on publicly owned lands managed by the agency. According to agency Lands Division Manager Cynthia Wilkerson, the restrictions went into effect July 1. Under the restriction, the agency is banning campfires, including those in fire rings.
