    COLBERT — The Davenport cross country team got its first taste of competition against other school’s runners at the Josh Wright Memorial 2-Mile Jamboree at Northwest Christian School Tuesday, Sept. 5.     WATERVILLE—It was a new head coach, but a familiar result for the Odessa football team in the Tigers’ season opener in Douglas County. The Tigers traveled to Waterville and pulled away from the Shockers 68-22 on a hot afternoon Saturday, Sept. 2.
