    REARDAN-The Screaming Eagles softball team lost both ends of a rainy doubleheader to Asotin 23-3 and 18-6 on Senior Day Tuesday, May 9. In the first game, Reardan pitchers gave up 13 walks and 10 hits which allowed Asotin to jump to a 16-0 lead after two innings. Because of the "Mercy Rule" the game ended after four innings with the Panthers ahead 23-3. Reardan did not get a hit in the game. Asotin continued to tattoo the ball in the second game.     SPRAGUE – A nearby lake has been stocked in advance of opening day of lowland lake fishing season. According to the state Department of Fish and Wildlife, Fishtrap Lake was planted twice last month with trout from the Spokane Hatchery.
