    Drew Lawson, The Record-Times|Updated Apr 22, 2022

DAVENPORT-Don't get too confused: The track meet was here, but it was hosted by Reardan. DAVENPORT-It was an up-and-down week for local baseball and softball teams, which fought through the strangely cold elements to work in contests around the Inland Northwest this week. Davenport baseball picked up a couple wins over Liberty (Spangle) before a setback against a strong Northwest Christian (Colbert) squad. Odessa baseball easily blazed by Republic, while Reardan baseball and Davenport softball weren't able to get wins in their combined six games. Gorilla baseball...

    Drew Lawson, The Record-Times|Updated Apr 14, 2022

MEDICAL LAKE-A six-run fourth inning by the Reardan softball team started to raise indications of a potential upset for the team over the 1A host Cardinals, but the home team went on a 10-run spurt over a three-inning span to erase any questions of a Medical Lake setback in a 17-8 result Tuesday, April 12. Reardan, competing against its former skipper in first-year Medical Lake head coach John Higgins, plated two runs in the top of the first inning but surrendered four...

  • Corrections

    The Record-Times|Updated Apr 8, 2022

Last week’s issue of The Record-Times contained two errors in the sports/recreation section. We misspelled Davenport senior baseball player Denton Deal’s last name in a photo caption.
