Jerry grew up in Odessa, graduating high school in 1956. Ellen graduated from Marlin High School in 1962.     ODESSA - Deanna Lobe, a lifelong resident, was named Biergarten Chairman for the 52nd Deutschesfest scheduled for Sept. 14-17. She has volunteered at Fest since graduating from high school in 1996, most recently in the sausage booth and as a server in the Biergarten. Over the past two years, Lobe has been the Service Manager at Wheatland Bank. Prior to that, she worked for 23 years at the Odessa Clinic.     ODESSA - A former resident and professional graphic designer was the mastermind behind the design of this year's Deutschesfest T-Shirt. 38-year-old Jesse Scheller, now of Spokane, created the logo that he called a "marriage" between Odessa's wheat farming and German heritage and rock-style bands that frequent the Biergarten at Deutschesfest.
