Whooping cough outbreak continues

On April 25, the Grant County Health District received a report of a three-month-old infant with whooping cough (pertussis). Through the investigation it was determined that there is one additional case in the household. At this time the patients are at home and not hospitalized.

In early April, the mother took her children to the doctor for constant coughing, but the children were not tested or treated at that time.
