Krell, Mrs. Minnie C. ?, (b. 5/3/1879, Alta Vista, Iowa. D. 12/16/1971). Married Fred Krell (1876-10/12/1968) at Alta Vista on 2/8/1900.

Kuest, John, (b. 6/23/1878, Menno, South Dakota. d. 5/13/1947). Father: Ludwig Kuest born South Russia; Mother: Dorothy Kampf born South Russia. John came west at the age of 21, where he was united in marriage to Miss Lydia Reiman at Odessa, 3/28/1901, farming in the southwest area for several years before moving to town, where they have made their home since. For several years Mr. Kuest operated a dray business in Odessa.

Kuest, John F., ((b. 8/24/1860. d. 11/9/1908). Wife: Magdalena Mattheis.

Kuest, Julius, (b. 10/16/1876, Menno, South Dakota. d. 5/5/1951). Julius came to the Odessa area in 1899, following his marriage on 12/6/1898 to Miss Rosena Heth, a native of Russia. They homesteaded southwest of Odessa, at the present H.B. Schafer farm, and moved to the creek ranch 1 ½ miles west of Odessa in 1914, and in 1935, will move to Odessa.

Lesser Jr., Henry, (b. 11/21/1895, Russia. d. 2/8/1970). Parents: Henry Lesser, Sr., and Mary Kammersell. At age 11, Henry came to the United States with his parents. They settled near Ritzville. He received his formal education in the Ritzville area. Henry married Molly Walters. Molly will die on 11/17/1958. On 8/11/1960 Henry will marry Helen Elliot at Odessa.

Lobe, Nathaniel, (b. 11/26/1895, Kulm, South Russia. d. 6/29/1976). Wife: Barbara Uhrich; Father: Gottlieb Lobe; Mother: Wilhemina Groz. Nathaniel came with his parents to the United States in 1898. His parents lived near Ritzville a while and then moved to a farm southwest of Odessa. On 3/11/1917 he married Barbara Uhrich. The couple had eleven children, two of whom died in infancy. The young couple lived with his mother for several years. After that they secured the Schaal farm where they will live until retirement to Odessa in 1950.
