Dream 2. Continuation.
Steffen, Edward Martin, (b. 6/21/1886, Russia. d. 3/1963). Parents: Edward M. and Fredericka Steffen. Edward married Amelia Graber in 1906.
Steffen, Herbert Wilhelm, (b. 11/3/1893, Eugene, Oregon. d. 4/4/1981). Mother: Fredrica Freschau; Father: Edward Steffen. Wife: Helen Christel. Along with his parents Herbert moved to the homestead 18 miles west of Ritzville in 1899. On 11/4/1915 he was married to Helen Christel. In 1916 Herb took over the family farm and will continue to farm until he and Mrs. Steffen retired to live in Odessa in 1959.
Uhrich, Mrs. Elsie Edwina Kuest. (b. 1906, Odessa, Washington. d.1/21/1983). Parents: John and Lydia Kuest. Her formal education was received in the rural schools of Odessa. On 12/12/1927 she married Henry Uhrich (12/19/1906-4/20/1967). They will engage in trucking and farming until retiring and moving to Odessa in September, 1960.
Walter Jr., Conrad, (b. 6/24/1885, Walter, Russia. d. 8/17/1950). Father: Conrad Walter Sr .; Mother: Mary Hoffman. Came to the United States in 1892. First to Walla Walla, Washington, then to farm near Odessa. On 7/9/1908 married Martha Graedel, to whom were born three sons and one daughter.
Weis, William, (b. 11/7/1873. d. 1/17/1960). Parents: Fred Weis & Mary Zinbelle.
Weber, Wentel, (b. 3/17/1880, Walter, Russia. d. 3/23/1969). Father: Wendel Weber. Mother: Mary K. Benner. He married Katherine Geist on 1/23/1899. He served in the Army of the Russian Tsar Nicolas II for five years, and then came to the United States in 1907. The couple settled in Quincy, moving to Ritzville in 1911, and then to a farm in the Odessa area. They will retire and move into Odessa in 1940.
