New Staff of Life V cookbook available at select locations

Unser Tagelich Brot, The Staff of Life V, has arrived from the printer. This German recipe edition was compiled by the Odessa Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and features all the German recipes from the past eight cookbooks put out by the Auxiliary. Cookbook committee members Nettie Miller, Debbie Walter, Carey Jasman and Laura Estes spent many hours creating the book in Cookbook Publishers new online program, making it possible to reprint the book as needed, and keep up with the demand for this popular cookbook.

Cookbooks are for sale in the Auxiliary Gift Cases located at Odessa Clinic, Quail Court, Hospital lobby and The Hair Haus, and also graciously offered for sale at Odessa Drug, The Quilt Crossing and the Rocky Coulee Brewing Company. Proceeds from the cookbook sales are currently being used to pay for the new dining tables at Quail Court. These tables, that fold up and have lock down casters, make setting up for crafts, games, family potlucks and entertainment nights much easier for staff and residents.

In addition to cookbooks, our Gift Cases contain numerous handmade items. Baby sweaters and afghans, kitchen items and decorator pieces. Your purchases will help the auxiliary quickly pay for the tables and provide funds for future projects.
