In another close match, Odessa was not able to hold their game together, losing to ACH. Coach Ken Scherr noted that “We played hard at times but were pretty inconsistent. We missed too many serves to beat a good team like ACH.”

Junior varsity

For the girls on the junior varsity, the ACH match had a happier outcome for the Titans. O-H took all three games (JV teams play 2-out-of-3 instead of 3-out-of-5 games per match), winning each handily by scores of 25-10, 25-21 and 15-7. The final game was played for practice only, as the Titans had already won the first two games.
