Harrington residents will have the opportunity to provide the Lincoln County Economic Development Commission (EDC) with their input to be used in a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy for the county. Students from Eastern Washington University will be in Odessa October 24 to obtain input from citizens for the project.
People who participate in a short exercise where they will be asked to rank the importance of some of the economic strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats faced by Lincoln County. The EDC will have story boards with four different questions for people to answer set up between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. outside Harrington Foods and the post office. .
Residents are being asked by the EDC to take a few minutes to provide this information, which in turn will help the EDC to formulate an economic strategy for the future of the county.
