Frank W. Groh

Frankie Groh died November 25, 2011 in Odessa. He was born August 11, 1928 in Odessa to Frank and Pauline (Flath) Groh. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1946.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Noreen Groh, at the home and by one sister, Kathy (and Bryan) Holjeson, of Harrington; three nieces: Cindy and (Manny) Hemmerling, Shawn and (Todd) Claypool and Roberta and (Steve) Telecky; two nephews: Greg (and Kim) Buchmann and Scott (and Kris) Buchmann and several grand nieces and nephews: Ryan, Lacie, Ashley, Russell, Kyle, Joe, Brett, Ty, Travis and Ashley, along with sister-in-law Margie Schell of Odessa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Pauline Groh.

He was a member of the Heritage Church in Odessa, the Eastern Eagles Athletic Association and was a past booster of the year for Eastern Athletics, as well as a past member of the Odessa Lions Club and Odessa Grange.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Heritage Church, Odessa, with Pastor Jon Hayashi officiating, followed by vault interment at the Odessa Cemetery.
