Advice from a small town girl

I don’t know about you, but I know that I have more questions than answers.

And the questions I have are persistent and demanding.

Things like, “Are men born knowing how to spit?”

“How many roads must a man walk down?”

“How much fossil fuel can we take out of the earth before everything falls in?”

“Where am I going and why am I in this handbasket?”

And one that’s been bugging me for several years, “Who defines the American dream?”

Marriage to a politically active person has opened my eyes to a whole new world.
