Serving Lincoln County for more than a century!
The Neah Bay Red Devils took first place on December 2 at the state 1B finals for 8-man football, played in the Tacoma Dome. They defeated Almira/Coulee-Hartline by a score of 36-28.
As expected Neah Bay played its game almost exclusively on the ground. After receiving the kickoff, the opening offensive drive took the Red Devils 77 yards in 11 plays before the quarterback, Josiah Greene, dove into the endzone from the one-yard line.
While Neah Bay was eating up the clock on the ground, ACH was itching to get the ball. In all, Neah Bay ran 61 plays during the course of the game to only 35 for ACH. The Red Devils had 347 yards rushing, with Titus Pasqua carrying 30 times for 187 yards.
The ACH quarterback Derek Issak managed 119 yards on the ground and also completed 8 of his 17 pass attempts for another 145 yards and two touchdowns.
It was a bitter loss for the ACH Warriors, their only loss of the season.
