Viola "Ole" Burbank

Ole Burbank died January 9, 2012 in Battle Ground, WA one month before her 98th birthday.

She was born February 16, 1914, in Wilson Creek to Charles and Esther Schumacher.

Ole raised her family in San Jose, Calif., and then she and her husband followed their children to Battle Ground in 1974.

Ole was a caretaker, homemaker and foster parent her entire life. She had a special fondness for children and animals and continued to provide in-home child care up until her late 70s.
