Titan boys lose at buzzer

The Odessa-Harrington boys basketball team traveled to Northport Tuesday, February 7, for the first-round 1B District playoffs.

Going in they had high hopes of an easy victory. Up by 11 points at the half, they still had high hopes. But their opponents had high hopes, too. After a third quarter in which the two team matched each other point for point, the fourth quarter saw Northport draw the score ever closer.

Northport’s Konkler beat the buzzer with a lay-in that sealed the Titans’ fate. The Titans now must make their way through the losers’ bracket to make it to state.
