Our dad passed away peacefully at his home in Lamona, WA. He was reunited with his parents, Rev. Elias and Rachel Walter, brothers John (Annie) and Joe, two sons Daniel Jacob (5 mos.) and William Eugene (12 yrs.). He was born in Fort Macleod, Alberta, Canada, where he resided until the age of 30. When he was 21 years he married his wife of 49 years, Rebecca Hofer of Turner, MT. They moved to Lamona in 1972.
