The Bi-County Academic Competition for children in grades 3 through 8 was held in Reardan recently and was attended by nine area schools, including Odessa and Harrington.
Awards were presented to the top six students in each category (spelling, math, speech and geography) and for each of the six grade levels. Each category had anywhere from eight to 25 participants.
