Harrington teachers receive week of appreciation

Tuesday, May 8, Harrington Principal Jacob Bang, the student-body officers and several other students put on an assembly for the teachers and school.

Bang (accompanied by school board member Linda Mielke) sang a song as his ‘do wop’ group of students joined in. The group then put on a skit about what would you be if you weren’t a teacher. At the end of the assembly, each staff member was presented with a plant from the students.

During the week the teachers also received gifts from the school board as well as food from the classified staff.
