The girls 4x200 championship team for 1B schools – Hannah Schmidt, Koralynne Kuch, Chelsea Fisher and Jordyn Tanke – enjoyed the top spot on the reviewing stand last weekend at EWU in Cheney.
Kira Powell did it for the third year in a row, capturing first place in 1B girls golf in the rain at Lakeside in western Washington. Koralynne Kuch, Hannah Schmidt, Chelsea Fisher and Jordyn Tanke, the four girls running the 4x200-meter relay event at the 1A/1B/2B track and field meet in Cheney also brought home a first place.
The Odessa-Harrington Titan girls track team was in a three-way tie for seventh place at the state meet held last weekend on the campus of Eastern Washington University in Cheney. The Titans tied with Thorp and King’s Way Christian for the seventh spot.
