Letter to the Editor: Thank-you stirs memories

What a wonderful feeling I had when I saw Anona Heimbigner's Thank-you in the Odessa Record several weeks ago!

It doesn't seem like 69 years ago she so ably taught us in sixth grade to diagram sentences. I taught the same thing to my sixth-grade students my last twelve years of teaching here in Washougal.

I often visualize sentences in their diagrammed form, especially when proofreading.
