INCIDENT LOG
Editor's note: Most items in this section reflect the starting point for response by local police and emergency agencies. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office does not release names of individuals who report possible criminal or suspicious activities to dispatchers or alleged victims for this column.
Sept. 24: Davenport ambulance personnel assisted a woman at a Washington Street residence who was having breathing difficulties.
Wilbur ambulance personnel assisted a 59-year-old woman at a North Anne Street residence who took a short fall after fainting.
Deputies responded to a burglary at the Davenport Laundromat on Sixth Street, where damage was reported to the front door area. Security equipment, including video cameras, was taken. Police in Reardan investigated a similar break-in at Colville's Laundromat on East Broadway, but the suspect was unable to remove cash from the machines there.
Reardan Police responded to a burglary at a South Birch residence with circumstances similar to those at the laundry facilities there and in Davenport.
A caller told dispatchers that her husband had filed for divorce and allegedly forged her signature.
After accidentally leaving his phone behind at a Davenport grocery, a man learned that females listed in the device had received lewd texts and calls from it.
A caller advised that a car traveling behind her on SR 2 near Reardan had gone off the road and into a plowed field.
Odessa ambulance personnel assisted a woman who was described as possibly suicidal and was thought to have had a drug overdose. The contact was made at Laney Brothers and Coyote Heights roads.
Computers thought to be taken from the Sprague Chamber of Commerce's office were found to have been loaned to a 4-H group.
Wilbur Police investigated a collision involving a vehicle and deer near SR 2 and 174.
Sept. 25: An east county resident told dispatchers he was being harassed.
A caller relayed his suspicions that the driver of a pickup truck he observed traveling on Gunning and Morgan streets may have been smoking marijuana.
Deputies investigated a possible sex offense in Davenport.
A caller reported several dump trucks working in the area had been speeding on Porcupine Bay Road North.
Deputies responded to a report of illegal burning at a residence on First and Olaf in Harrington.
Sprague firefighters responded to a truck fire on SR 23 that spread to a nearby field and barn.
Sept. 26: Wilbur ambulance transported a 66-year-old man who had fallen to Lincoln Hospital in Davenport.
Davenport ambulance personnel responded to a one-car rollover collision on SR 2 that left the driver with possible injuries to his arm and head.
Deputies took a reportedly intoxicated man into custody on obstruction charges after he allegedly refused to leave a residence on SR 25 north of Davenport.
A Waukon Road resident advised that a Ford Explorer had been abandoned in her driveway for about 3½ months, unlocked with keys inside.
Davenport ambulance personnel assisted a woman who was in labor, transporting her to Lincoln Hospital after she had given birth.
A caller phoned in suspicious behavior involving someone loading a heavy object from a ditch into a truck along SR 28 about two miles north of Harrington.
Sept. 27: A woman reported the theft of hydrocodone pills from a residence on Wilbur Airport Road North.
In an event that lasted several hours from one afternoon to the following morning, deputies, reserve deputies and other law enforcement officers tracked a potentially suicidal and armed man in his late 40s, believed to be a Reardan resident, in an area between Harrington and Porcupine Bay. Pinpointing the man's cell phone signal, he was located in a field at the top of a canyon near Russ Road and taken out by a Fairchild Air Force Base helicopter. He was hospitalized in Spokane for possible injuries to his kidney, arms and ankles resulting from a fall.
Harrington ambulance personnel assisted a woman who experienced bleeding in her throat.
Sept. 28: A Wilbur woman reported trespassing had occurred on her Bahr Road property.
Dispatchers took a report from Lakeview Terrace Mobile Home Park that a resident's RV had sustained damage in a collision with a lawnmower.
Reardan firefighters were called to deal with a large bonfire reported at property on Moore Road North.
A Davenport caller advised dispatchers that someone tried to get into the Sixth Street residence at which she was babysitting.
A woman reported that 50 of someone else's cattle were on her Miles Creston Road property.
Wilbur Police assisted a local woman who said she was "feeling suicidal" prior to transporting her to Lincoln Hospiatl in Davenport.
A caller advised several juveniles were "doing drugs" in a Reardan Community Hall bathroom. Two were cited on minor in possession charges and released to their parents.
Sept. 29: Sprague ambulance personnel assisted a man complaining of chest pains and, in a separate dispatch, four victims of a one-car rollover on I-90, where injuries included cuts, scrapes and a head laceration.
Harrington ambulance personnel assisted a 27-year-old woman who was vomiting blood from a tonsillectomy.
Davenport ambulance personnel assisted an 89-year-old man who had fallen.
Deputies were advised of a "hungry and homeless awareness" fundraising event that involved people sleeping in cardboard boxes at the Sprague city park.
After a hitchhiker asked dispatchers if he could sleep there overnight, they provided a mattress and blankets for him in the sheriff's office lobby.
A deputy helped a vendor selling fruit in front of a Davenport business to allow room for his patrons to line up without being in the street.
National Park Service officers responded to a report of shots fired at the Hawk Creek boat launch area and contacted two individuals believed involved.
A Harrington woman reported receiving sexually explicit texts from a former male acquaintance.
A caller advised she had left a wallet in the Telford rest area women's bathroom.
Responding to a call for help from a residence on Thirteenth Street in Davenport, deputies placed a boy into custody after allegedly assaulting people there and tearing things up.
A deputy determined there were no violations after dispatchers took a call from a man who claimed patrons of the recently opened bar in the Almira hotel were being "overserved."
Sept. 30: Creston ambulance personnel assisted a man who had fallen at his residence.
A collision involving a vehicle and deer took place on Rocklyn Road about two miles from the Odessa turnoff.
Property owners at Walters Road south and east of Zundel Road advised that someone drove circles on freshly tilled soil, causing damage.
Dispatchers took a report of an accident from the previous week involving a 14-year-old girl who was driving with an adult man alongside when the car flipped on Dreger Road.
Deputies assisted a woman in the Reardan area whose 16-year-old daughter was described as "out of control" and a Davenport woman whose 8-year-old son allegedly assaulted her and his father.
A Davenport woman advised dispatchers of a possible scam involving a caller who offered to help set up her retirement, took her birth date and address information and promised to send out a representative.
A fulltime resident on Osprey Road in Deer Meadows asked for assistance with "weekenders" in his neighborhood who needed to quiet down.
National Park Service personnel were on standby for a stranded boat in the Cayuse Bay area.
Returning from boating, a woman found her truck damaged in a collision in the Spring Canyon campground. The good news: The other driver left his contact information under a windshield wiper.

Criminal Dispositions
Eric Calvert Young, 36, Wilbur, pleaded guilty Sept. 25 to solicitation to possess a controlled substance (amended through plea negotiations from possession of methamphetamine). The court suspended a $5,000 fine, but required $700 in court costs and the completion of 24 months probation. The charge involves a Nov. 3, 2011, incident in Wilbur. In June, prosecutors prevailed in a defense petition to suppress evidence obtained during a search of the defendant's residence in November of last year.
Caleb Marcellus Wiesner, 18, Richland, Wash., pleaded guilty Sept. 25 to second-degree criminal trespass (amended through plea negotiations from second-degree burglary and third-degree theft). He was sentenced to two days in jail and must pay $550 court costs and restitution to be determined. The charge involves an Aug. 13 incident in Sprague.
Damon A. Lombard-Gordon, 19, Odessa, pleaded guilty Sept. 25 to fourth-degree assault (amended through plea negotiations from third-degree rape of a child). He was ordered to serve 15 days jail (1 credited as served) and 15 days electronic home monitoring, pay $700 court costs and complete 12 months unsupervised probation. In his plea, he admitted he had, on April 3 in Odessa, "touched another person without lawful authority."
New Criminal Cases
Jerry Lee Hayes, 41, Spokane, is charged with violating a no-contact/restraining order as a result of a Sept. 12 incident in Reardan.
Micah Rae Davison, 21, of Odessa, is charged with taking a motor vehicle without the owner's permission, third-degree theft and two counts of forgery. The charges involve the taking of a vehicle from Odessa and its abandonment in a parking lot in Moses Lake on May 11, along with the May 8 theft of car batteries from the Odessa NAPA store and the forgery of checks on April 8 and 13.
Cody William Seely, 24, Coulee City, and Jacob Donald Schmidt, 22, Odessa, are charged with taking a motor vehicle without the owner's permission and third-degree theft in connection with the incidents allegedly involving Micah Rae Davison on May 8 and 11.
