Editor's note: Most items in this section reflect the starting point for response by local police and emergency agencies. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office does not release names of individuals who report possible criminal or suspicious activities to dispatchers or alleged victims for this column.
Nov. 5: A Harrington man expressed reservations about a $360 deal involving two computers that were to be delivered to him from Sprague. He told dispatchers he had only received one and felt "scammed."
Dispatchers learned fireworks had been set off during night hours outside apartment units in the 1000 block of Logan Street in Davenport.
A Davenport woman reported an "overwhelming" smell of paint and/or chemicals in the 900 block of Park Street.
A Davenport woman told dispatchers of her concern about a child allegedly being exposed to alcohol and drug parties when in her father's custody.
A caller reported that a vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Adams Street in Davenport had been spray painted and that foul language and pictures were placed with a permanent marker.
Dispatchers handled a call about a domestic dispute involving a woman and her 18-year-old daughter in the northeastern part of the county.
Nov. 6: Odessa Police placed a man in custody after responding to a reported assault in the 500 block of East First Avenue.
Deputies investigated a burglary at a shop in the 20000 block of Scharff Road North near Davenport.
A Creston woman advised that a dog was running loose in the 100 block of SE Railroad.
A Wilbur woman reported she had received threatening text messages.
Dispatchers were advised of a female hitchhiker who ran in and out of traffic at the intersection of SR 21 and 174 in Wilbur.
Deputies responded to a report that someone had been "going through" items left on the back porch of a residence in the 200 block of North Sixth Street in Almira.
Odessa Police responded to a report of an unwanted person who had pushed and shoved people inside a residence in the 500 block of East First Avenue.
Nov. 7: A caller reported his vehicle was spray painted while parked in the 1000 block of Adams Street in Davenport.
Davenport deputies filed city code violation incidents originating from the 1000 block of Eighth Street, the 800 and 900 blocks of Adams, the 900 block of Washington and the 1000 block of Seventh.
Deputies handled an alleged unlawful issuance of a bank check for $120.55 in the Davenport-Reardan area.
A caller reported smelling marijuana inside a vehicle occupied by a juvenile and parked near Fourteenth and Main streets in Davenport.
A collision involving a car and deer took place on SR 2 near Davenport.
Odessa ambulance personnel assisted a person who apparently had suffered a seizure while in the band room at the local school.
Nov. 8: Personnel at Trader's Express in Davenport phoned in their concerns about two men and a woman, all Hispanic, with what were described as gang-related tattoos, who were "screaming" at each other in the parking lot.
A woman reported receiving several harassing phone calls of a sexual nature.
A Creston man was taken into custody after deputies responded to a domestic violence call from the 200 block of NW Watson.
Deputies placed a woman in custody after responding to a domestic violence incident at Lakeview Terrace Mobile Home Park near Grand Coulee.
A Davenport woman was taken into custody after admitting to deputies that she hit her husband's head with a plastic bottle during an argument in the 400 block of Tenth Street.
Wilbur Police investigated a possible assault in the 500 block of SE Brace Street.
Odessa Police investigated a reported theft of furniture valued at $1,000 from a rental unit in the 400 block of East Second Avenue.
During a traffic stop at Elm and Broadway, Reardan Police cited a woman for possessing marijuana under 40 grams.
Nov. 9: Sprague ambulance personnel transported the victim in a one-vehicle rollover collision on I-90 to a Spokane hospital.
A caller reported a backpack had been taken from his vehicle while parked in the I-90 Sprague rest area. Inside were clothing, an iPod and medication.
For the third time this week, a report of malicious mischief to a vehicle was phoned in from the 1000 block of Adams Street in Davenport. This time, someone had written "slut" on the vehicle.
Nov. 10: As snowy conditions arrived, a vehicle was reported to be in the ditch on SR 174 near Wilbur.
Animal related reports in Davenport included a dog on the loose in the 600 block of Tenth Street and another dog continually barking in the 300 block of Logan.
A man crashed a birthday party uninvited in the 500 block of West First in Sprague.
Nov. 11: A caller reported a man, possibly a hunter, was lying on the side of SR 2 with a rifle looking into a field near the weigh scales west of Reardan.
Ambulance personnel were called to assist a woman with rib injuries after she was reportedly assaulted in the 200 block of Morgan Street in Davenport.
Deputies checked out a report of smoke coming from Davenport Laundry at Park and Sixth streets and determined it was just a dryer vent.
A Sprague woman reported a man was harassing her after she turned down his request to become romantically involved with her.
A deputy advised a man that he would have to remove a snowman he had built in the middle of the road at the Davenport city park.
A vehicle went into a ditch near the intersection of Long Lake Road and SR 231.
Odessa Police investigated a vandalism incident that may have involved juveniles in the 400 block of East First Avenue.
