Monday, Jan. 14: Davenport ambulance personnel transported an 85-year-old man suffering from fever and tingling in his arm from Serene Meadows to Lincoln Hospital.
A Reardan area caller reported the theft of two camcorders (owned by his employer), a digital camera and six loose diamonds from a jewelry box at his East Euclid Road residence.
Heavy spray-painting was discovered at the Egypt grain elevator north of Davenport.
A tow truck was sent to the intersection of Bald Ridge and Holderby roads to get a woman's vehicle out of a ditch.
No one was hurt after two vehicles collided at Tenth and Marshall streets in Davenport.
Someone was observed digging in a dumpster near Davenport Family Foods.
Wilbur Police dealt with a loose dog that wouldn't leave the school grounds and advised its owner to keep it chained up.
Tuesday, Jan. 15: Harrington ambulance personnel transported a man suffering flu-like symptoms from his residence in the 300 block of Second Street to Lincoln Hospital in Davenport.
A resident of the 500 block of SE County Road told Wilbur Police she was afraid to go outside because of two dogs at-large near her home.
Wilbur Police were called in after a eighth grader reportedly threw a second grader into a snow bank near the local school.
Wednesday, Jan. 16: A Davenport area man told dispatchers about a phone call from "scammers" trying to get him to purchase a money order from Wal-Mart.
Two collisions occurred within a short period north of the intersection of Bald Ridge and Tamarack Canyon roads. A man was using a flatbed truck to assist a vehicle on its top when the truck and another vehicle whose driver had stopped to assist were both struck by another vehicle.
Trader's Express in Davenport reported receiving two bad checks totaling about $146.
A Davenport area man told dispatchers about fraudulent activity involving his bank account.
A Davenport woman reported her car had been involved in a hit-and-run collision in the 700 block of Fifth Street. A passenger side door window broke out and the vehicle sustained a dent as well.
Thursday, Jan. 17: A deputy checked out a continuously barking dog that "looks to be hungry" near a residence in the 100 block of West Third Street in Sprague.
Odessa Police were advised of alleged threats against a local resident.
Friday, Jan. 18: Unable to make a phone connection, Lincoln Hospital personnel asked for assistance from law enforcement in informing a Davenport resident that a family member was being transported from there to a Spokane hospital.
A Davenport deputy offered bus schedule information to two men found using the Pioneer Plaza restrooms as a place to sleep for a few days.
Occupants of two vehicles involved in a collision on SR 231 near Sprague began to argue with each other, prompting a request for a deputy to respond. One man was taken to a Ritzville hospital for treatment.
A Davenport man who reported an incident of telephone harassment called back later to let dispatchers know his daughter had pulled a prank on him.
Refusing a breath test, a man was arrested for driving while under the influence after deputies responded to a report of an apparently abandoned pickup truck on Fancher Road East northeast of Edwall.
Saturday, Jan. 19: Alcohol violations were dealt with by a deputy responding to a Harrington man's call about fireworks being shot off and a substantial amount of noise being made at a residence in the 300 block of Glover.
Avista Utilities was asked to deal with a down power line near SR 25 and Sunset Highway.
After getting a call about a possible burglary in the 400 block of SE Regent in Wilbur, officers determined that firewood was being delivered from a backed-up truck to the residence.
A caller reported someone was spotlighting in his field adjacent to Irby Road North.
Odessa Police convinced a man to return a young girl to her Sixth Street residence in order to avoid a kidnapping charge. Police were considering charging him with custodial interference.

Criminal Sentencing
Ryan William Adolph Louie, 29, Omak, pleaded guilty Jan. 15 to possession of cocaine in connection with an Aug. 24, 2012, traffic stop in Reardan. The court ordered him to serve 12 months and one day in prison, concurrent with an Okanogan County sentence, pay $1,000 in court assessments, and complete a drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment program.
