Employers invited to exhibit at BBCC’s Job/Career Fair

Registration is now being accepted from employers who plan to exhibit at the 20th annual Job and Career Fair at Big Bend Community College.

More than 60 companies are expected to attend the April 18 event in the ATEC building. Space is limited, so early employer registration is encouraged.

Employers historically attending the fair include companies involved in manufacturing, food processing, retail, service industries, health care, aerospace, education, and technology.

As employers register, their names will be posted on the Job and Career Fair web site (www.bigbend.edu/jobfair) so job seekers can learn in advance which employers will attend.

Attendance by job seekers has been 1,200 to 1,800 in recent years, according to college records.

“It is exciting to see the opportunities new and existing companies represent for jobs, economic development and positive change for Grant County,” said Deborah Correll, Job and Career Fair Committee Chair. “There is no other event in this area where you can touch base with so many employers in one location in one day.”
