The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office does not release names of individuals who report possible criminal or suspicious activities to dispatchers or alleged victims for this column.
Monday, Jan. 28: Davenport ambulance personnel transported a Seven Bays man to Lincoln Hospital for treatment of high blood sugar and vomiting.
No one was reported injured after a vehicle slid off Miles Creston Road.
A Sprague woman told dispatchers she had been passed on the left by a vehicle speeding through the school zone near Fifth and F streets.
A suspicious vehicle possibly linked to the removal of scrap metal in the area, was spotted heading east on SR 2 from Tramm Road.
Tuesday, Jan. 29: A tree branch in power lines along Bowie Road East caused them to spark.
A semi-truck was observed speeding through Odessa eastbound on SR 28.
Confronted by a Davenport deputy, the driver of a parked truck believed to have been in violation of a one-hour limit in front of Phase II in the 400 block of Morgan Street promised he would only park there when loading and unloading.
A caller reported a man and woman in their 20s yelling at each other in the 600 block of Main Street in Davenport. A responding deputy discovered the argument was over "the last cup of coffee."
A local woman reported fraudulent activity involving her debit card, which was used for two transactions under $200 at a Wal-Mart in West Virginia.
Family members and mental health personnel developed a "safety plan" for a Davenport High School student who had sent a text message that he was thinking about hurting himself just prior to leaving campus on foot.
Deputies investigated a harassment incident involving tenants at an apartment complex on Logan Street in Davenport.
Young men in a car were observed attempting to sell vacuum cleaners door-to-door in the 500 block of West First in Sprague. A responding deputy determined they had obtained a solicitor's license from city personnel.
A Seven Bays woman requested assistance after she locked her keys inside her vehicle and herself out of her residence.
Wednesday, Jan. 30: Semi-trucks were believed responsible for tearing up Kunz Road.
Deputies responded when a burglar alarm went off at Kathy's Market in Sprague.
A man was taken into custody at Art's Body Shop in Davenport for allegedly "shoving" another man, for whom an ambulance was dispatched to provide treatment for a possible broken hip.
A Sprague area man reported receiving threatening letters and emails.
A vehicle collided with a power pole on Porcupine Bay Road, causing the pole to go down and a fiber optic wire fall across the roadway.
Wilbur ambulance personnel joined local police in assisting a man who suffered a seizure inside Sandy's Thrift. It was later determined that he is diabetic, staying in a local motel and is an employee of the Bureau of Reclamation at Coulee Dam.
Odessa Police were advised of someone attempting to sell furniture from the back of a truck on Main Street after a sale deal apparently fell through.
Thursday, Jan. 31: A man was observed striking glass at the Viking restaurant in Sprague, apparently attempting to break in. The activity was thwarted by a nearby resident who yelled at the man, who subsequently fled in a vehicle.
Someone broke out the back window at Harrington Foods.
A cash register and safe were damaged during an overnight break-in at Harrington Truck and Auto, from which 20 silver dollars and $100 were taken.
An overnight burglary was reported at Cederblom Automotive in Edwall, where a window was broken and several cars' glove boxes were searched for money.
A Harrington man reported the theft of several tools valued at about $200 from a shop in the 300 block of West Glover.
Creston ambulance personnel reported the theft of 15 IV saline solution bags during the past month.
Deputies checked out an animal cruelty allegation involving a horse in Wilbur and advised those tending it to look into getting a larger shelter. The horse was being fed and watered.
A man fell near an apartment building in the 500 block of Ross Street in Davenport.
A woman told dispatchers that a boy in his late teens had made threatening gestures at her as she drove by his residence in Harrington.
Friday, Feb. 1: Deputies collared the driver of a vehicle observed traveling at speeds between 70 and 85 mph on SR 28 and into Davenport.
Deputies assisted Davenport Safeway personnel with a "suspicious" car in the middle of the parking lot with its door open and a broken key in the ignition.
A Davenport woman told dispatchers that a big black dog had charged at her in her own front yard in the 1000 block of Twelfth Street and that she would shoot the animal should that occur again.
Two vehicles collided on SR 25 just north of Hart Road (north of Davenport) in heavy fog; one of the occupants was transported to Lincoln Hospital.
Deputies investigated a possible narcotics incident involving students at Davenport High School who allegedly had left campus to engage in drug activity.
Harrington School District personnel reported a vehicle failed to stop for a bus with its stop sign extended on the previous afternoon.
Creston School personnel reported $20 had been taken without permission from a cash box.
County Public Works personnel removed a large round hay bale from the middle of Tramm Road just north of Bisson Road near Reardan.
Dispatchers were advised that log trucks were using Miles Creston Road in violation of weight restrictions, as were semi-trucks on Denny Station Road.
After her husband informed dispatchers that he had not heard from his wife for some time since she called to tell him she had a flat tire in Spokane, she later contacted him at their Harrington home. Two days later, he called dispatchers again, advising he hadn't seen or heard from her since.
A deputy warned a woman not to use all-terrain vehicles on Mohler Road, even though she was attempting to retrieve a loose horse.
An Edwall woman became suspicious after an occupant of a vehicle asked for and received directions, then asked if she could take him there.
Saturday, Feb. 2: Sprague ambulance personnel assisted a 15-year-old boy, who had tonsil surgery a week before, after he awakened and spit up a large quantity of blood.
Stereo speakers were taken without permission from a vehicle parked outside Davenport Memorial Hall.
Sunday, Feb. 3: A Davenport man reported a Texas business apparently had fraudulently charged him $14.95 several times.
Deputies checked out a report of a vehicle with two occupants not recognized by a resident who observed it "suspiciously" traveling in the vicinity of Lakeview Ranch Loop Road near Odessa.
A door frame was damaged in an unsuccessful attempt to break into the Sprague fire station.
Wilbur Police assisted an 80-year-old woman suffering from tightness in her chest.

Criminal Dispositions
Sara Anne Richardson, 38, of Pullman (formerly of Davenport), entered an Alford plea on Jan. 29 to a substituted charge of third-degree malicious mischief in connection with damage rendered to a vehicle belonging to Mick's Auto in Davenport, which reported on May 29, 2012, that a vehicle had not been returned from a test drive. Felony charges of theft of a motor vehicle, taking a motor vehicle without the owner's permission and second-degree possession of stolen property were dismissed as the result of plea negotiations. Her sentence included five days jail (credited as served), a $1,000 fine (suspended), $493 court costs and attorney fees yet to be determined.
Joseph Mario Zamora, 31, Moses Lake, pleaded guilty Jan. 29 to possession of methamphetamine in connection with a Feb. 23, 2012, incident east of Davenport. He was sentenced to 12 months community custody, six months and one day jail and $1,000 court costs.
Juvenile Offender Disposition
A deferred disposition was issued after a 17-year-old Davenport girl pleaded guilty Jan. 22 to two counts of third-degree malicious mischief in connection with incidents on Jan. 4 and 6 during which damage occurred to walls, doors, furnishings and appliances inside a Davenport residence. She must serve 30 hours community service and pay restitution yet to be determined.
New Criminal Case
Dusty Rose Aubertin, 18, of Keller, is charged with possession with intent to manufacture of deliver methamphetamine, illegal possession of a pistol (due to age), and making a false statement to Reardan Police. The charges against her stem from a traffic stop in Reardan on Jan. 4.
New Juvenile Offender Matters
A 15-year-old boy being housed in Spokane County Juvenile Detention on a Whatcom County warrant is charged in Lincoln County with second-degree malicious mischief, second-degree burglary and third-degree theft in connection with the Jan. 22 break-in at K&L Chevron in Sprague, from which nearly $200 in merchandise was taken and more than $1,700 damage was done to a glass door. Sheriff's deputies were assisted in their investigation by a witness and video surveillance of a suspect and suspect vehicle, along with fingerprints left behind at the scene, according to the court record. Photos were released to Spokane media and social media outlets in an effort to obtain information to help solve the case.
