Spring
Spring has not yet sprung, despite the wishes of gardening fanatics everywhere. A couple of warm afternoons do not make for a spring thaw. The night-time temperatures continue to drop well below freezing. Every morning we look out and see frost covering most everything.
But February is the month that reminds us, with those occasional warm afternoons, that it won't be long before the buds will be bursting out and greenery will be poking up out of the brown earth.
