Newest deputy welcomed by Lincoln County Sheriff

Lincoln County Sheriff Wade Magers welcomes Deputy Brandon Wilson to his team. Deputy Wilson has been attending the Washington State Criminal Justice Basic Law Enforcement Academy for the past 5 ½ months. Deputy Wilson graduated on May 1, 2013 along with 29 other recruits from all over Washington State. The Ceremony commenced at 1 p.m. in Burien in an auditorium with over 200 in attendance to include law enforcement dignitaries and family members to recognize their graduate. Deputy Wilson will now be in a 3-month field training officer program in Lincoln County where he will ride with three FTO instructors over the next 90 days to enhance the skills he has learned in the academy. Deputy Wilson will be moving to the Wilbur area and will be an important part of our team in protecting and serving the citizens of Lincoln County Sheriff Magers reports.
