Monday, July 1: Sprague ambulance personnel responded to a collision on I-90 involving a motorcycle and deer. The cyclist was transported to a Spokane hospital for treatment.
No injuries were reported after two vehicles collided on SR 174 at the bottom of the grade near Grand Coulee.
After an argument with her stepmother, a 14-year-old girl asked a deputy what she could do about her living arrangements.
A woman allegedly handed a Davenport Pharmacy employee a bad check for $1,037.24.
Four young men reportedly were illegally discharging shotguns from a gray van at the end of Jack Brown Road near U.S. Bureau of Land Management property and within 10 feet of a state highway.
The driver involved in a one-vehicle rollover collision on SR 2 about a mile east of Reardan was transported to a Spokane hospital.

A strong ammonia odor was reported in the 200 block of North Second Street in Harrington.
Deputies responded to reports of gunshots fired in the vicinity of residences on Wild Turkey Lane in Creston.
Odessa Police investigated a theft report from the 200 block of East 4th Avenue.
Thursday, July 4: Part of the roadway was reported washed out at SR 231 and Little Falls Road.
Dispatchers took a report of a verbal fight involving a woman and man in the 100 block of West 4th Avenue in Odessa.
A deputy assisted a National Park Service ranger's response to a reported assault involving two women and a 16-year-old girl at the Spring Canyon campground.
Smoke, possibly from fireworks, near Stockland Livestock Exchange in Davenport caused concern for a caller who filed a report.
Friday, July 5: A fire was reported near trees on the west side of the Almira football field.
A caller from Deer Meadows reported his dog may have been shot in the hip.
A Sprague woman reported her dog stolen.
Dogs were observed chasing cattle on property adjacent to SR 231 north of Reardan.
Odessa Police responded to a report of an unwanted person at a residence in the 100 block of East 3rd.
Saturday, July 6: A boy and girl were the focus of an alcohol offense at Fort Spokane campground.
A caller asked for help in "making the music stop" in Sprague - but the music was authorized as part of the community's Hay Days celebration.
Deputies investigated a possible sex offense in the Davenport area.
Materials were reported taken without permission from the Care and Share outlet in Davenport.
A National Park Service ranger handled an altercation at the Fort Spokane picnic area.
In pursuit of a vehicle traveling in excess of 100 mph, a deputy's patrol car right front tire blew out on I-90 near Sprague.
A caller reported her suspicion that illegal fireworks were being set off at the end of Sixth Street in Almira.
Loud music and possible underage drinking was reported at two residences in the 1000 block of Adams Street in Davenport.
A Davenport man reported threats had been made against him.
Coulee ambulance personnel assisted a woman who lost consciousness at Crescent Bay.
A woman suffered a possible concussion after the vehicle she was driving went into a ditch at the entrance of Spring Canyon campground. Responding emergency personnel had to deal with a crowd of about 30 that were at the scene.
A caller reported fireworks were shot towards her Lake Roosevelt area residence and the shore from a houseboat occupied by several individuals. A large fire on the beach also was reported.
Sunday, July 7: Davenport ambulance personnel assisted a woman who said she felt dizzy and weak.
A fire was reported on the beach near Two Rivers Casino.
After an alarm went off at an Odessa area residence, a responding deputy noticed the back door had been smashed in.
A motorcyclist suffered a possible leg injury after laying the cycle down on Egypt Loop Road near SR 25 to try to avoid a collision with a car that was occupied by two boys. The driver could face reckless driving and vehicular assault charges.
Two occupants of a rowboat that overturned in the water at the Spring Canyon campground boat launch managed to get to shore on their own, while a third needed some assistance.
A man told dispatchers that he believes two juvenile boys could be responsible for the theft of about $120 worth of marijuana from a residence in the 1000 block of Adams Street in Davenport.
After responding to a report of a possible assault involving a man, woman and boy at a residence in the 900 block of Adams Street in Davenport, a deputy determined no assault had occurred.
A deputy responded to reports of illegal fireworks at a Wheatland Road residence in the Northridge area of Davenport. A similar report originated from the vicinity of Osprey Drive in the Deer Meadows area.
A white van was being driven at a high rate of speed through the Fort Spokane campground.

Criminal Sentencings
Matthew J. Schmoyer, 19, of Spokane, pleaded guilty June 18 to third-degree malicious mischief (amended through plea negotiations from second-degree malicious mischief). His sentence includes five days confinement (credited as served), $1,975 restitution (shared with two other defendants) to a Davenport woman and Spokane Valley man, $750 court costs and attorney fees yet to be determined. He also must complete an alcohol/drug evaluation and treatment program and was ordered not to possess or use either. A bench warrant was issued for his arrest after he failed to make a June 11 court appearance. The charge involved damage to furniture during a Jan. 13 incident at a Davenport residence.
Andrew Bradley McDowell, 20, of Wilbur, pleaded guilty July 2 to third-degree malicious mischief (amended through plea negotiations from second-degree malicious mischief), in connection with the above matter. His sentence included 20 days jail (17 credited as served), $793 court costs, shared restitution of $1,975 with co-defendants Matthew Schmoyer and Seldon Schmoyer, 12 months probation, alcohol/drug evaluation and treatment, no possession or use of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs. Failing to appear in court on June 25, a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
Anthany Allen Hoskinson, 18, of Odessa, pleaded guilty June 18 to third-degree malicious mischief (amended through plea negotiations from 10 counts of second-degree burglary, 10 counts of third-degree malicious mischief, third-degree theft and vehicle prowling) and was ordered to pay restitution of $1,171.62 to Odessa High School, $60 to Christ Lutheran Church of Odessa, $21 to the Odessa FBLA Chapter and $35 to the Odessa-Harrington Booster Club. He also must pay $700 court costs. The charge stems from activity on Nov. 12, 2012, at the Odessa school bus barn and concession stand, along with at least seven food booths at the Odessa community hall, along with damage done to a fire department flatbed truck. A second defendant also was charged in connection with this incident and, if he pleads or is found guilty at trial, will share the costs of restitution.
Gerald W. Lester, Jr., of 48, Bastrop, La., pleaded guilty July 2 to vehicular assault (amended through plea negotiations so that references to alcohol in the original charging document were eliminated in favor of "driving with disregard for the safety of others"). He must complete 30 days electronic home monitoring and pay restitution to be determined along with $600 court costs. In his plea statement, he said he had "no recollection of the incident," but since his attorney noted that sufficient evidence was there for a conviction, he decided to "take advantage of the prosecutor's offer." The charge involved a Nov. 13, 2008, traffic collision on I-90 which resulted in injury to a female passenger. A resident of both Louisiana and Moses Lake, Wash., at the time, he failed to appear for a March 2009 court appearance in Davenport and an extradition process ensued. Washington State Patrol investigators at the collision scene indicated they believed alcohol was involved.
Marcus A. Nolan, 22, of Harrington, pleaded guilty July 2 to manufacturing marijuana (amended through plea negotiations from possession with intent to manufacture or deliver marijuana). In his plea statement, he acknowledged, "I grew one large MJ plant in Lincoln County." He must pay $743 court costs and complete 12 months probation and a domestic violence evaluation and treatment program, and not possess or use non-prescribed drugs or marijuana. Failing to appear in court on June 18, a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
<<i>strong>New Criminal Cases
Jennifer Yu Hong Wu, 39, of Bellevue, Wash., is charged with forgery in connection with fraudulent court documents pertaining to a marriage dissolution and child custody case that included a forgery the signature of her former husband (John McClure). A handwriting analysis was done by the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab prior to the filing of the charge.
Jordan A. Pedigo, 20, of Davenport, is charged with distributing or delivering marijuana to three individuals 18 years of age or younger on June 11.
Nathan Earl Eldred, 36, of Wellpinit, is charged with possession of methamphetamine and driving while under the influence in connection with a Feb. 15 rollover collision involving a pickup truck he drove on SR 231 about 1½ miles north of Reardan. He was transported to a Spokane hospital for treatment of what were described by deputies as "severe injuries" to his face and a hand.
