W-ville 0 0 8 6 14

O-H 16 24 0 0 40

Touchdowns were scored in the first quarter for O-H on an 80-yard run by Sam Schafer. The extra-point attempt on the ground was good.

The next score was made on a 15-yard run again by quarterback Schafer, who also ran across the end line for two more points.

The second quarter started with almost an instant replay of the previous score, a 20-yard run by Schafer, followed by Schafer taking the ball in for the two-point conversion.

O-H then completed a 35-yard pass play from Schafer to Carsen Weber. Schafer ran the ball for two more.

The final score of the first half was a 10-yard run by Schafer, with Dillon Dennison running the ball in for two points.

After halftime, Waterville made its first score on a 5-yard run. The extra-point pass attempt was good.

In the fourth quarter, Waterville scored on a 15-yard run. The extra-point attempt was no good.

Outstanding offense, line and backfield individuals were Schafer with 172 yards rushing on 8 carries, 3 TDs and 4 completed passes out of 8 attempts for 96 yards; Steven Braun with 119 yards rushing on 9 carries, 1 TD and 2 receptions for 51 yards; Weber with 1 reception for 35 yards and 1 TD; Dennison with 20 yards rushing on 5 carries; Joey Buell with 42 yards rushing on 3 carries.

Outstanding defense, line and backfield individuals were Weber with 2 tackles, Dennison with 4 tackles, Schafer 12 tackles, Jacob DeWulf 5 tackles, Dakota Largent 2 tackles and 1 interception, Nathyn Winslow 3 tackles, Derek Montgomery 2 tackles, Braun 3 tackles, Buell 5 tackles, John DeWulf 5 tackles, Alex Hernandez 4 tackles, Caleb Behrens 5 tackles, Chance Messer 2 tackles, Cole Kissler 4 tackles and William Mann 2 tackles.

According to Coach Bruce Todd, the team's strong points are that the offense has established its running game and that the Titans were much faster than the opponent. The team still needs to improve on blocking, however.

O-H jumped out to an early lead of 40-0 early in the second quarter and allowed for valuable playing time for the younger players.

“We were much faster and executed much more effectively,” said Todd.
