Sam Schafer rushed for 2 touchdowns of 20 yards and 2 yards and passed for 3 touchdowns of 5 yards, 55 yards and 50 yards, all in the first half. In the second half, he rushed for 2 TDs of 60 yards and 4 yards.
Steven Braun rushed for one 6-yard TD in the first half. Carsen Weber had on TD reception of 55 yards, and Dakota Largent had one TD reception of 50 yards.
Schafer had a total of 273 yards rushing, 4 rushing TDs, 219 yards passing and 3 passing TDs. Braun had 75 yards rushing, 15 yards receiving with 1 TD reception and a 68-yard kick return. Weber had 110 receiving yards and one TD reception. Largent had 60 yards receiving and one TD reception. Dillon Dennison had 50 yards rushing and 45 yards receiving.
On defense, Jacob DeWulf had 7 solo tackles, 4 assists and 2 sacks. Nathyn Winslow had 2 solo tackles and 4 assists; Schafer 7 solo tackles and one assist; Braun 5 solo tackles and 10 assists; Weber 8 solo tackles and 5 assists; Largent 2 solo tackles, 2 assists and one interception; Dennison 3 solo tackles and 2 assists; Derek Montgomery one solo tackle and one assist and William Mann 2 assists.
“We excecuted much better than our opponent on offense. Our defense was key to stopping their spread offense,” said head coach Bruce Todd. “[We] still need to keep improving in every aspect of our game offensively and defensively. We had a little more balanced attack offensively and played very solid defense. They are a talented team that needs to work on some fine-tuning and timing issues with their offense.”
The team’s season record to date is 3 wins and 2 losses, although the Titans are 3 - 0 in league play.
